Relaxing Gas

Some patients are worried, nervous or anxious about visiting a dentist. We offer patients relaxing gas to make their visit more confortable. Also known as "Gas and Air", this form of sedation is a mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen gases and is administered through a mask.

You will not go to sleep but it will relieve anxiety and make you more comfortable. At all times you are in control of how much you consume.

It will take approximately 15mins to wear off and you are given lots of oxygen at the end of treatment to reverse the effect.
