In The Community

At Camlough Dental, we are committed to supporting our local community. That includes twice yearly visits to the local crèche to educate the children as well as inviting primary school Year One pupils in for basic dental checks and a discussion on the importance of oral hygiene. This helps enhance dental health and make kids more comfortable in our practice.

We are also active with local sports clubs and make regular visits with a dentist and a nurse to take impressions for gum shields.

Giggles Day Care - Bessbrook

Camlough Dental practice has been supporting Giggles in the delivery of healthy lifestyles. Aileen gave the children detailed descriptions using knowledge that thechildren understand.   This included dental hygiene and how to keep their teeth healthy.  The length of the session was appropriate to the children's concentration span. The children where engaged throughout the session. The children where given a goodie bag which the children enjoyed and this also ensured it developed the parent partnership on the topic of dental care. We look forward to working in partnership in the future.

Rascals 'N' Ruffians Playground - Ballyholland

In our play group we often ask professional people to come along and talk to the children about what their job entails. One of these professionals we ask is Camlough Dental Practice  and Mrs AIleen Campbell is always willing to come along to demonstrate what her job title entails. AIleen always includes the children's participation, by having their teeth checked, talking about healthy eating and the correct method of brushing their teeth. She leaves information for the parents to read e.g tooth brushing and dietary advice. This is ongoing annually and Mrs Campbell is always available when we request her to visit Rascals 'N' Ruffians Playgroup.  We always appreciate her visits.

St. Malachy's Primary School And Nursery Unit - Camlough

Mrs Aileen Campbell, our local dentist, has visited our nursery on a number of occasions to speak to children, parents and staff on the importance of dental hygiene. Her visits were always informative, enjoyable and very well recieved by children and adults alike. She imparted excellent advice, provided free dental packs for the children and left dental hygiene posters for display in the nursery. I would highly recomend Mrs Campbell to any school or nursery.The Principal and I would like to thank her for taking the time to visit our nursery.
