Our sugar intake rockets around this time of year.
So while we all love to indulge in sweet treats over Christmas, here is some advice to help your smile stay in tip top condition.
Timing is everything. Try to be mindful of when you indulge in your festive treats. Our advice is to minimise frequency and enjoy them immediately after a meal so your teeth are not under constant attack throughout the day.
Don't forget your usual healthy habits - After a night out, do not be tempted to go to bed and forget to brush your teeth, not matter how exhausted you are. Remember to brush your teeth twice a day using fluoride toothpaste, with no rinsing after brushing.
